Legend of The Moon-Eyed People of NC

The Moon-Eyed People are a race of tiny people who, according to Cherokee legend, once lived in the Southern Appalachians. The Moon-Eyed People were believed to be physically very different from the Cherokee, having long hair or fur over their entire body and having pale, perfectly white skin. They were called Moon-Eyed because they were unable to see in daylight, their sensitive eyes being blinded by the sun and some say they had the ability to illuminate their eyes at night to see. For this reason, they were strictly nocturnal, and lived in underground caverns.

The team uncovers the truth surrounding this long lost tribe. Were they human or could there be more to the legend with

 a link to the Bigfoot legend?
